What we collect

When the bot builds a server’s recap, it reads that server’s message history for the current year and keeps only counts: who sent a message, when, in which channel or thread, how many reactions (and which emoji), mentions and replies it got, and whether it was pinned. We store each member’s Discord user ID, display name and avatar link so their card can show them.

What we never collect

We do not read, store or analyse the text of messages, attachments, embeds, voice or direct messages. The bot does not request the Message Content intent.

How it is used

The counts are turned into the server’s recap, member cards, awards and the Server League. Aggregate totals (messages, members) count toward league rankings. A server’s name and icon appear in the public league unless an admin takes the server out with /wrapped leaderboard:false.

Who can see it

Recaps are available only through a secret link. On drop day the bot posts that link in the channel the server’s admins picked; recaps built later with /wrapped are sent privately to the admin who ran it. Members can remove themselves at any time with /wrapped-optout.

Retention and deletion

Recaps and yearly summaries are kept so next year’s recap can compare with this one. To delete a server’s data, remove the bot and contact us through the support link on our website. Members who want their data removed can use /wrapped-optout or contact us through the support link on our website.
